The land of Ancient Egypt is hot and dry. The Nile River flows into the Mediterranean Sea. Egypt is 90% desert. Ancient Egypt is located on the continent of Africa. The Nile River floods every year(Crabill). The black land on the banks of the Nile River are fertile, the red land is desert land. The desert land provides precious metals and semi precious stones(British Museum).
In 5000 B.C. the green grass in Ancient Egypt turned to desert. During this period where the climate was changing animals and tribes began to migrate to other areas, due to the weather changes(Experience Ancient). Ancient Egypt is the 30th largest country in the world, it is 386,662 square miles (Briney). In 1558 B.C. glass was made. The Golden Age began 1500 B.C. During the Golden Age perfumes and cosmetics were used, only by the Gods though (Ohio University).
The Golden Age ended 900 B.C. (Ohio University). In Ancient Egypt stone and pottery vases, linen, papyrus, gold vessels, ox hides, ropes, lentils, and dried fish were exported. Mostly all the imported goods were luxury items for high society. Copper and ivory were imported by Cyprus (Eternal Egypt).
